Ayurvedic Digestive Reset
April 2025
About the Digestive Reset? An Ayurvedic reset is a gentle yet effective way to support your body as it goes through a natural re-calibration in the spring time. In spring, your system starts to shed the heaviness of winter, and prepare for the heat of the summer. Ayurveda offers simple tools to aid your body's natural detox process. Are you ready to renew your vitality using a wisdom that has been time-tested over thousands of years? This reset is only three days long (plus a few days on each end, to ease in and out of it). It is based on eating a delicious-yet-balancing dish called khichri, and drinking plenty of digestion-enhancing fluids to support the body’s natural cleansing processes. This 9-days guided experience is a little taste of Ayurvedic life. Prepare to explore basic concepts in Ayurveda (lifestyle, cooking, and oil-massage) in a lovely, supportive group setting. As we all know, such things are so much easier with group support! If you have ever wondered what Ayurveda is really all about, this is your chance to find out! "Help" signs from your bodyA seasonal reset is good for everybody! Yet some of us need it more than others. Here are some signs your body might give you when it needs some extra support.

This reset runs over a 9 days stretch. Not all of these days involve special activities. It is nice to have the 3 main reset days to be off from work and any strenuous activities. It allows us to focus on resting and cleansing the body and mind. Please mark these days down in your calendar and book them iff if you can. Wed Apr 10 - Fri Apr 12: The first 3 days are preparatory days. In this phase we gently wean ourselves off our vices, and clean up our diets in preparation for the reset. We will get together and learn how to do Ayurvedic self massage on day 2. If you have a coffee/tea/marijuana habit, I suggest you start this phase 5 days earlier. Sat Apr 13 - Mon Apr 15: The next 3 days are the actual reset days. In this stage we eat a mono-diet of a simple rice and lentil dish called khichri, and drink herbal teas to flush our system. Ayurvedic self massage is added in here for deeper cleansing. There will be group meetings on Saturday and Sunday for Q&A and for live movement practices with guest presenters. Tue Apr 16 - Thu Apr 18. The last 3 days are the recovery days. In this phase we ease out of the reset and re-build our diet in preparation for the return to our regular lifestyle. There will be one last live zoom call to address how we can integrate our reset into everyday life going forward. Schedule

Praise for the Group Reset"Finally found a cleanse that works for me and I enjoy doing" ❤ - Trink K "Looking forward to keeping on making kitchari and incorporate this cleansing into my life. I had so much fun along the way with you all." - Katherine L "I did it! So proud of myself for sticking with the cleanse. Thank you so much, Muneera. I knew very little about Ayurveda but this gave me a great intro. I’m excited to continue to learn more!" - Mariette W "The structure was really helpful for settling my erratic vata energy. I also realized how food centered I am and how much time I spend either cooking or going out to eat every day. Having the simple meal prepared was a gift of time for myself. I also notice how much sharper my senses are. My normal everyday tea tastes amazing this morning! Thanks Muneera and everyone else for sharing this experience!!!" - Trina B "Super well organized and comprehensive - exactly what I was hoping for. " - Janey C About Your FacilitatorHi!
